However, I dont know what Im saying yet and Ive been recycling the first two chapters the whole month. There should be more practice words and phrases with their meanings as you learn. Still, great app!

Im Brazilian and I started to study Japanese by myself about ten years ago. I really like the way the app is and guess how could be if I had it when I started to learn Japanese. I was curious, so I chose to download the lite app, it starts really with the basics of learning Japanese. Im already an advanced learner, so it had no use for me at all, but I still enjoyed to flip through this beautiful app. Wherever you look, you notice that it was created with a lot of love for detail and care. The texts are easy to read and provide interesting background info and not just plain lessons with exercises. The design is beautiful and very nihon-like ^_^ But its not just plain text-reading, the chapters are often interrupted by entertaining quizzes like Kana-pairs or different vocabulary exercices. And a light tap on the japanese vocab fields activates an audio file with a native speaker giving you the exact pronounciation. Really a perfect piece of work!

I got this app less than a week ago and it is incredible! The content is great and the presentation is extremely well thought out and engaging. Quick animations show you the order of the strokes for each written character and each word and sentence can be heard spoken by a native speaker. The cultural comments that are included between the practical language lessons are priceless! I have learned the most enlightening things through this free app. Many thanks to the author!

Ive wanted to learn Japanese for so so long, and in just one day Ive learnt how to write out the whole alphabet; its so easy to do, and there couldnt be a better way to learn Japanese than with this program. The bonus is that its free!

This is the best program EVER!!! Finally a thingie that can help to learn japanese. I learned a lot of stuff about japanese!!!!!! I went to Japan a few weeks ago with my family, and the people understood me almost perfectly (besides having a pronounced accent, but thats just the way I speak). This app is amazing. 6/5.
